Referral presets
Home and Kitchen: 15%. Consumer Electronics: 8%. Beauty, Health and Personal Care: 8% through $10, otherwise 15%. Clothing and Accessories: 5% through $15, 10% through $20, otherwise 17%. Electronics Accessories: 15% on the first $100 and 8% on the remainder. These presets have a $0.30 minimum. Custom mode applies your flat rate and minimum.
How contribution is calculated
Total modeled Amazon fees = referral + entered fulfillment + allocated storage + other Amazon fees + selling plan allocation. Monthly plan allocation = monthly plan cost ÷ expected account units sold; the Individual plan uses $0.99 per unit.
Contribution = sale price − modeled Amazon fees − product cost − inbound freight/prep − advertising. Margin = contribution ÷ sale price × 100. Contribution before advertising shows what remains before the entered ad cost; it is not a recommended ad budget.
Worked example
With a $30 Home and Kitchen sale, $4.50 referral, $4.50 illustrative fulfillment, $0.50 storage and $0.40 rounded monthly plan allocation, modeled Amazon fees are $9.90. Subtract $8 product cost, $1 inbound cost and $2 advertising: contribution is $9.10, or 30.33%. The fulfillment amount is an example, not a rate for your product.
